Wall plate
Stoneware clay. Hand rolled and shaped. I then add ceramic pigments to porcelain slip and 
layers of colour are applied and reworked to build up a beautifully tactile and visually 
stimulating surface. 
Once bisque fired more layers of underglaze colours are added and sanded back thus building 
up an even richer depth of surface texture. It is then fired to a Stoneware temperature.
Please note each piece is individually hand made, shaped and painted. No two are ever the 
same and I like to think of them as sibling landscapes.
All Wall plates come with a hanging disc already fixed to the back.
