Soft Slab handbuilding and Paperclay techniques by Lesley McInally
Paperclay is a fascinating clay body which has an addition of paper pulp. There are many unique qualities to this particular type of clay and what can be achieved using it.

Softslab surfaces by Lesley McInally
Texturing, stretching, cutting and altering the slab and repeating this process whilst the clay remains soft (thus no slip is required for joining). This is a truly wonderful technique Lesley has developed whilst exploring the possibilities of paper clay.
3-D Slumping by Lesley McInally
3-dimensional patterns/imagery created from slumping.
Free forming by Lesley McInally
Free Form: This method allows very wet slabs to be instantly shaped into forms whilst retaining the quality of the surface texture.
